Tiffany E. Browne
After ten years in the federal government, Tiffany said goodbye to her job with the Administration for Children and Families, but not before starting her journey as a journalist while a student at Howard University. Tiffany has written on topics mainly in the areas of health, politics, education, arts and entertainment. With more than 15 years of freelance experience, her work can seen in publications such as Monarch Magazine, EBONY.com, The Crisis, The Washington City Paper and more.
As a native of Washington, D.C. she is fascinated by how much her city is changing. This fascination drives her passion to bring some of the issues & faces of local D.C. to the national level. She is a journalist chasing the enriching, enlightening and perhaps entertaining stories about her city and beyond. A resident of Ward 7 in the District, she is currently serving as the Director of Communications for D.C. Councilmember Yvette M. Alexander (Ward 7).
